Prof.Xiaohui Niu, is a Chinese Board of Surgical Specialist in diagnosis and treatment with Soft tissue and bone tumors. He is the Director of Department of Orthopaedic Oncology at Beijing Ji Shui Tan Hospital and the Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Tsinghua University School of Medicine。

Prof. Niu received his M.D. degree from the Capital Institute of Medicine in Beijing, China. He went to Clinique de Cedre, Bois Guillaume at France as Visiting Professor in 2003. Then he went to the St Vicent Hospital at Melbourne in Australia as Visiting Professor.

Prof. Niu is the director at Department of Orthopaedic Oncology in Ji Shui Tan Hospital. He believes that surgeon have a crucial role in the diagnosis, prognosis and therapy prediction of bone and soft tissue sarcoma. As the leader of the Sarcoma team, he strives to provide the most adequate border of surgery and as much as possible to retain and rebuild the function of patients.

Prof. Niu is passionate about treatment on bone and soft tissue sarcoma. He is a member of International Society on Limb Salvage (ISOLS).He has published several book chapters, more than 90 peer-reviewed articles focused on sarcoma. He has earned multiple awards in osteosarcoma research. He is also the president of Osteosarcoma Committee of Experts of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO). He trains residents, fellows and medical students from the Peking University medical school and also many other medical center around the nation.
